MENTORING

MENTORING

The School has designed a program aimed at facilitating entry into the world of work for university students. The program is addressed to 30-50 university students - from Universities of Southern Italy and of the Mediterranean Area– who will be mentored by 30-50 managers, during 5/6 one to one sessions over the course of 6 months.

The program intends to develop merit and confidence in the future on the part of new generations of students coming from the Universities of Southern Italy and Mediterranean region, through critical reflection on their future academic and career choices. Such mentoring will bring students closer to the world of work, providing support to those universities who offer limited opportunities for outside contact with companies, and creating unique networking and peer-mentoring opportunities between students from different university and geographic contexts. By the end of the program, students will have acquired reference models within the world of work and a better understanding of professional dynamics, as well as greater awareness of their own personal characteristics and strengths, and ultimately greater clarity as to their future academic and career aspirations.
