Ortygia Business School is an educational platform, able to attract best academic profiles and competencies to deliver first-class business education. We provide managerial education to high potential and experienced managers in companies, through both ad hoc and open-enrolment programs.
Ortygia Business School is also active in the migration field through its Center for Migration that organizes several academic and disseminating initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue among different stakeholders on managing migration solutions.
The Italian economist, Lucrezia Reichlin, who has led the project since its inception, conceived the idea for the Ortygia Business School.
The feasibility study, completed by Value Partners, was financed by ENEL, Italcementi, ST -Microelectronics, GE Avio.
Initial support for the project was provided by Banca Nazionale del Lavoro-BNP, Deutsche Bank Italy, Unicredit Banking Group.
The project is now finalizing its start-up phase, focusing on fund-raising. There is an opportunity for a small group of companies to become strategic partners of the School: making a significant contribution to the start-up financing and having direct input to the design of the educational and research program, and becoming permanently associated with the school itself.
